PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ONWARD TRANSFER

AGHS-American Global Heir Search will transfer Personal Data to third parties only for limited and specific purposes. We will obtain assurances from our Agents that they will safeguard Personal Data in a manner consistent with this Policy. Examples of appropriate assurances that may be provided by Agents include: (a) a contract obligating the Agent to provide at least the same level of protection as is required by the relevant EU-U.S. DPF Principles; (b) the Agent’s certification that they participate in the EU-U.S. DPF; or (c) being subject to EU Data Protection Directive (EU Directive 95/46/EC) or being subject to another European Commission adequacy finding. AGHS-American Global Heir Search recognizes its responsibility and potential liability for onward transfers to Agents. Where AGHS-American Global Heir Search has knowledge that an Agent is using or disclosing Personal Data in a manner contrary to this Policy and/or the level of protection as required by the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, AGHS-American Global Heir Search will take reasonable steps to prevent, remediate or stop such use or disclosure.

If AGHS-American Global Heir Search transfers Personal Information to non-agent third parties acting as a Controller, AGHS-American Global Heir Search will obtain assurance from these parties that they will provide the same level of protection as is required under the principles unless a derogation for specific situations under European data protection law applies.

Additionally, if you are a European Union resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example, if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. THIRD PARTY DISCLOSURE

ENFORCEMENT

AGHS-American Global Heir Search participation in the EU-U.S. DPF is subject to investigation and enforcement by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, AGHS-American Global Heir Search commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection or use of your personal information. EU individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of personal data received on the EU-U.S. DPF should first contact AGHS-American Global Heir Search at: tampa@aghs.com or by mail at 400 N. In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF, AGHS-American Global Heir Search commits to cooperate and comply respectively with the advice of the panel established by the EU data protection authorities (DPAs) with regard to unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF.

AGHS-American Global Heir Search has further committed to refer unresolved EU-U.S. DPF complaints to United States Council for International Business (USCIB), an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact or visit https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/ for more information or to file a complaint. The services of USCIB are provided at no cost to you.

Under certain conditions detailed in the EU-U.S. DPF, you may be able to invoke binding arbitration before the EU-U.S. DPF Panel to be created by the U.S. Department of Commerce and the European Commission.

CHANGES

AGHS-American Global Heir Search may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
